From the outset, the Duo Fortin-Poirier has distinguished itself through national and international competitions (including 2nd prize at the Rome International Competition), and has seen its career crowned with awards, bursaries and nominations. More recently, their Nuit blanche project was nominated twice at the Gala des Prix Opus (2023 and 2024).

The album Nuit Blanche, which exclusively features modern material from the show of the same name, was included in CBC's Top 20 Classical Albums (2022). The duo has also recorded several singles and three albums (Vingt doigts et un piano, Mémoires, Nuit Blanche), which are regularly broadcast on Espace Musique, Ici Radio-Canada and CBC.

 At the peak of their art and still full of promise, the Duo Fortin-Poirier have not ceased to amaze. Their refreshingly innovative approach is making them a fixture on today's cultural scene. Their art can also be appreciated through their music videos, conceived in close collaboration with talented artists.

 Duo Fortin-Poirier is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025! To mark this anniversary, the two accomplices are currently preparing a project that will mark these two decades of human, musical and creative resonance. To be continued...
